The interiors of the La Sagrada Familia are remarkably spectacular. Similar to the entire architecture, the interiors also exude Gaudi’s gothic naturalistic architectural style. The structure is filled with religious symbols that consist of multiple elements that took inspiration from nature. For instance, you will find tree trunks rising above the ceilings on the church columns, thereby allowing the visitors to feel as if they are walking through a canopy of a magical forest. The shape of the Latin cross along with the nave of five ships outlining a transept of three naves was the ground plan of the Sagrada Familia.
The exterior facades of Sagrada Familia include 12 apostles, each having four towers. These towers are adorned with gorgeous and vibrant pinnacles with a white ball on the top. Gaudi constructed the structure of Sagrada Familia, believing that no work should be higher than the construction of God.There are three facades on the exterior of Sagrada Familia, each representing nativity, passion, and glory. The construction of the nativity and passion facade has already been completed, but the glory facade still remains to be under construction.
